Every girl, no matter where she lives, deserves to manage hygiene.
At Beti Foundation, we know about the political economy of education and life, and we know that it is possible to change the trajectory of women’s lives for the better. The intent for Empowhered is to empower women and girls and equip them with knowledge that will help them improve their status. Education and employment opportunities remain great hurdles for many female Asia Pacific women including women in vulnerable situations in society. Our aim is to strive for the creation of conducive ground for women to engage in information and skill sharing and development. A self esteem and leadership / personal development focus ensures that women escape the poverty trap and learn to become independent.
Skill Development: Our services range from vocational training to financial literacy that help empower women and make them financially independent.
Literacy Programs: Specifically for elementary and post literacy for women who never attended school.
Creating Opportunities for Every Woman
Annually, we gather as one force to uplift and inspire women of different professions, and with one goal, to advance women’s rights. By organizing this event, we will be able to eliminate social barriers and discourage society to stereotype women and promote women’s right. Besides, through our participation, we also demonstrate the societal commitment towards the empowerment of women and encourage others to become a part of this crucial social cause for women.
