About Beti Foundation
Beti Foundation is a specific NGO which focuses on the education and the rights of girls in India. Founded on the premise that educating the girl child will help transform society for the better the foundation ensures it fights causes such as dowry, child marriage, and all forms of discrimination against women and girls. As per its mission, Beti Foundation reveals that whenever and wherever girls are educated and protected, not only a family but a community improves and progresses.
It has set its agenda close to that of advocating for awareness and bringing opportunities especially for girls in rural areas where the problems such as increasing population, child labour and gender discriminations persist.
Founded under the India Trust Act and having exemption from income tax under section 80G, The Beti Foundation is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organisation. Another is that it aims at offering service delivery and fighting for girls’ rights in this natural process.
